Reviews
I saw Victoria at the Royal Marsden after being diagnosed with breast cancer, and have been hugely impressed with her professionalism and expertise. During two pre-surgery appointments, she explained everything extremely clearly and compassionately. She never made me feel rushed, and gave me the opportunity to ask all the questions I needed - and the time to decide on the best surgical option for me.
On the day of my surgery, Victoria was extremely reassuring and I am very pleased with the outcome of my mammoplasty, both clinically and aesthetically.
When I first saw Victoria, I was in state of nervous panic, all the worst case scenarios speeding through my mind. I wanted a mastectomy and I wanted it now. Victoria's manner was reassuring and thorough from the start. She explained everything in crystal clear terms and constantly ascertained that I understood exactly what the road ahead held, mapping out a realistic time scale. She was calm, gentle and knowledgeable in a way which inspired immediate and utter confidence. On the day of the operation, she came to see me beforehand and outlined what was going to happen, involving me and ensuring I was fully aware of everything at every stage. After the operation, she came back again to see me, telling me all had gone well. My surgery healed extraordinarily quickly (thanks to her expertise) and I was in relatively little discomfort. When I went for my post-operative appointment, she again outlined the future path (chemo) with clarity and sense. My initial nervous panic had become incalculable gratitude and I will forever remain so. I cannot recommend Victoria highly enough - she epitomises professional expertise.
After a gruelling 2 hour wait for test results, and feeling very anxious, Victoria was very calm & professional with excellent eye contact & body language, and made me feel at ease. I was impressed by her knowledge but most importantly her great communication skills. She gave me her 100% attention, explained my treatment options & summarised effectively.
I recently met Victoria as a breast cancer patient at Addenbrookes hospital. She has a really lovely manner, listens and communicates well, is very friendly and professional. A perfect combination of personality traits for a doctor. I’m really pleased with my surgery outcome and felt very supported on the day of surgery, both pre and post op. Victoria also came into work 2 days before Christmas in order to follow up with patients personally and avoid having to wait for results over Christmas, which was hugely appreciated!
Everyone we have been involved with at Addenbrooke's during my treatment has been fantastic, and Ms Teoh is no exception. She is extremely professional, clear in her explanation of results and procedures; patient, caring, thoughtful and sympathetic and importantly has a great sense of humour.
